MALE meeste ehetega IIDA-galeriis
Näitusele on kutsutud esinema paarkümmend Eesti ehtekunstnikku, kellel kõigil on palutud luua üks ehe mehele. Sõdalasele, kaunishingele, vastasele või partnerile. Võitjale. Kaotajale. Lihtsalt mehele. Ehted on eksponeeritud kambri ühel seinal, ühes suures valgustatud aknas. MALE meeste ehete näitus on avatud 7. novembrist – 28. veebruarini 2010.

IIDA is a salon in the Old Town of Tallinn that sells Estonian textile, design and fashion. The salon will be open from the beginning of May (2008) on Suur-Karja Street. It will mainly feature the designs and creations of Kristina Viirpalu and Eva-Liisa Kriis. The salon will sell clothes, jewellery, decorative textiles and other related designs. There will be a separate display/exhibition space for jewellery, where different Estonian jewellery designers can participate. In creating their products, the IIDA designers rely on old handicraft traditions. That is how Kristina Viirpalu has designed handmade dresses with the pattern of knitted lace, including wedding dresses, and Eva-Liisa Kriis uses a computer-run loom for creating her decorative fabrics. However, the general style is modern, but respectful of old traditions, lots of natural materials are used, simple and clear lines and a sophisticated, art deco-ish color palette are prevailing. The collection of the salon mainly consists of unique pieces and it is possible to make special orders for individual sewing, fashion and interior design solutions. Kristina Viirpalu has graduated from Tallinn University as a choreographer and is currently a graduate student of jewellery at the Estonian Academy of Arts. Eva-Liisa Kriis has graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts as a textile designer and is currently working as a freelance designer.
